I guess the maximum exposure is the cost of a reshell or an engine rebuild

I got a reasonable quote from someone like motorsport insurance services, but coul never get them to send me the bloody quote in writing despite loads of pokes.

However, I have recently taken out personal injury insurance for track us (In case of permanent disability for which I'm not covered through work for racing), and I used www.moris.co.uk. I did it all online and it was pretty painless. They then called me the following week to ask if they could insure the car as well but its frankly not worth it. Certainly seem ok to deal with though,

I use competition car insurance, offer either body cover or body and engine \ transmision imact damage cover. £18k cover for 2 hours racing costs aound £800
