Federal 595 RS-R track tyres

Have you guys ever tried them?

Ive been running them for about 1 year now and think they are nearly as good as the R888 and lots cheaper!!! And they seem to last a lot longer than the R888 ive used.

195/50/15 and they are £65+VAT each

I should be getting a few sets instock too.....

How do they compare to the Hankook RS TD tyres?

The Hankook RS2 is more of a Fast Road tyre and often melts on heavy track days.

The 595 RS-R is a more track focused tyre and takes a lot more abuse and heat cycles

You can put my wheels on your Golf if you want to try a set out.

I am assuming you still have a 4x100 Stud Pattern?

Yes, still 4 x 100, but I run 16" wheels to fit over the Wilwoods. What's the damage for 2 x 195/50/16 or 205/50/16 or 205/45/16 (depending on what sizes they're availble in?

Cheers

I've got some waiting to go on my track day tyres for my m3 at the moment, so hope they are good. Will report back when I know.

I reckon some of those Federals are quite good, especially for the money
