Best Ear Plugs?

I suffer from Tinitus and have an aero screened Caterham (not really helpful that eh!).

I have seen a few different types of ear plugs available, and I don't find the ones from hardware shops that comfortable or fanastically effective (also the orange hardware store ones tend to dislodge when I put a helmet on).

Anyone had experience of any of the following products:

http://www.sensorcom.com/prodtype.asp?PT_ID=320

Looks like the heartech or alpine products are best suited?

It seems to be as much wind noise (when driving without crash helmet) as engine / induction.

For info, if I go out without a helmet I use Dixon goggles and a hat, I know I have to be careful for stones etc but I do enjoy a blat without a helmet every now and again!

I've asked a similar question on a couple of other forums recently. I decided to get some custom ear monitors in the end as I wanted in ear speakers for my intercom system.
I got mine from here http://www.ultimateear.com/Sales/SoundEar.htm

They do just plain ear plugs too http://www.ultimateear.com/Sales/squidgy.htm
but it's a pricey option as unless you can go to their office for impressions then you also have to pay for an audiologist to make the moulds.

I find them much more comfortable than the foam type but after a day on track I've had enough. I think in part this is due to the pressure on my ears from the helmet being compounded by the plugs. There is also a knack to getting them in which I am only just getting.

The other products that were recommended were these

I use the E.A.R Soft FX foam plugs :

They have a SNR of 39 which I believe is the best. I can still hear the engine, sirens etc but they're great at blocking noise and I find then very comfy. I use one pair every 4-6 days.
The alpine ones (motosafe?) always seem to be popular.

A couple of Atom owners have just started to try the radian self mould ones too. Haven't had a full review yet but early signs seem positive.
