Great to see others building Saab for track.

I am looking to convert my 2008 Aero to track only car. The problem, it has an auto transmission. Hope it's not an issue to convert it to manual.

Keep us posted.

Great story! Good to see something a little unusual being prepared for the track

OK,. I am rather excited. I get him back in tomorrow with the cheesy body wrap. It has been done for me and my new employers, but I love it none the less. I guess it has been a long time in coming (1 failed marriage and a long time on ones tod etc).

Photo's should be here tomorrow. Be kind lol.

As promised, this is what he now looks like:

Enough said!

Picking him up in the morning, gentle 1000miles to bed him in (should not take long) then we get him on the rollers and turn the wick up! Can't wait.

Is that a sponsorship wrap for racing then, or just a bit of what you fancied?

I work for them Frank and as they kindly built it for me I could not not go with the corporate scheme. I did however add the bonnet as my personal touch to identify my car from the others (when they are finished!).

Itching to get behind the wheel for my first proper drive of it tomorrow.......
